Why Life Groups?
Life Groups are important at Blendville because we believe that life change happens best in smaller groups. At Life Groups, we hang out, care for one another, and challenge one another. The main purpose of Life Groups is fellowship and community with a little knowledge and information mixed in.
If you are interested in joining a Group, please contact Luke Cole.
- How often do groups usually meet? Our Life Groups meet for three, 8-week sessions during the school year. One session begins in the fall until Thanksgiving, the other session begins in January and the third session begins after Spring Break.
- Where do Groups meet? Life Groups mostly meeting in homes, but we do have one that meets at the church.
- Is Childcare Provided? Not every group needs childcare, so we leave it up to each group to provide its own. If you need a group with childcare, let us know.
- What do Groups Do? Groups hang out, challenge each other, and care for one another. This looks like groups of people reading the Bible and praying with one another, serving one another, serving others together, celebrating and having fun together, and supporting one another. They can choose how to study the Bible – some through conversations about Blendville's sermons, some through direct Bible study, and some through books that teach about the Bible.
