Having grown up in this church, I am so excited to have been given the opportunity to work in the office as the secretary. I'm
married and have 2 awesome children. I've been blessed to have been able to not work for the last 12 years so I could
stay home with my youngest child. I think I am most excited to get to know people from church that I know by name but don't
necessarily know much about them. Now I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life and I pray that I would make my dad proud,
as this church and its people meant so very much to him.
BLENDVILLE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
I was born and raised in Oregon in a Christian home. I married my High School sweetheart. We have four children and 11 grandchildren.
I have an Elementary Education degree from the University of Oregon. Our family served as missionaries in the Dominican Republic for
18 years, where I taught children and teachers alike. I enjoy our Blendville Church family and ministering to children alongside this
I grew up here in Joplin and my wife, Chelsea, grew up in Champagne, Illinois. We both were heavily involved in the worship ministries
at our own churches before we came to attend Ozark Christian College as freshmen in the fall of 2011. We both joined OCC's traveling
worship band, Frontline, where I played electric guitar and sang, and Chelsea sang and played acoustic guitar on occasion. On Frontline,
we traveled to lead worship at many churches, youth retreats and church camps all over the country from Florida to California, and
had the honor of leading worship at the annual NACC in Louisville, Kentucky in July of 2013. On Frontline, Chelsea and I went from
being strangers at our first practice to close friends, dating, engaged, and then married on May 18, 2013. We're honored to be here
at Blendville Christian Church to be used by God in powerful and unforeseeable ways. To Him be the honor and glory and power and dominion
I am married to Jenny and have two sons, Titus and Roman. I love all things sports. I particularly root for the St. Louis Cardinals,
Chicago Bears, and Illinois Fighting Illini. I am really excited to be the Lead Minister here at BCC. I will be preaching most Sunday
mornings. My desire is for people to meet, connect, and know Jesus and each other. You can find me in the foyer before and after services,
meeting and talking with people; be sure to come say hi!
